Aidan, a seasoned saxophonist, shared his professional opinion on this model: "The WO series baritone saxophone adds a noticeable amount of extra “colour” to the tone over the WO1, while remaining very agile and responsive. At times, it becomes hard to tell you’re driving a big, cumbersome bari while playing this horn, as its ease of blowing and slick keywork make difficult technical stuff that much easier. I felt that this one offered more dynamic and tonal range in both directions. I immediately noticed the extra brightness and “edge” when driven harder, but it also impressed me with its warmth and presence at low volumes. This is an outstanding bari, and pound for pound, I reckon it matches up very, very well with the gold standard of the Yamaha 62."
