All of our three Ozwinds stores are managed by musicians and certified musical instrument repair technicians. We are dedicated and committed to providing the very best advice, products and after sales service.
From the beginning ...
Ozwinds owner, Brian Ebert, a qualified brass and woodwind technician opens Brass "n" Woodwind Workshop in 1989. This was a service and repair facility located in Glenhuntly, Victoria.
One year later, the workshop was relocated to a larger premise at 572 North Road Ormond, Victoria.
Around 1992 the workshop slowly evolved into a retail store, primarily selling used quality brass and woodwind instruments and then later moving into new instruments shortly before it became a company called Melbourne Brass and Woodwind Centre P/L

The Ozwinds.com.au online website began in 2003 and continues to prosper today with new and changing products.
In March 2019 both our retail and workshop stores moved into one location in Moorabbin. This is the largest store of its type in the southern hemisphere, with 1,100 sqaure meters of space. Brisbane Store
First opening in 2006, the store was managed and run by the owner Brian Ebert until 2010.
After being in the Red Hill area for about a decade, we decided to move to our new store location at Stones Corner, which opened in early 2017. We are the Brass and Woodwind store for all your wind instrument needs. Visit our Ozwinds Brisbane Google business page here

Gold Coast Store
This store was first opened in 2000 and is still operated by Rob Rota and his partner Karen Hood.

Ozstrings Melbourne
Begun in June 2014 and moved into our Ozwinds retail space at 578 North Rd January 2016.
Relocated in March 2019 with Ozwinds, we have lots of room to keep growing.

Ozwinds - Online Orders.
Most online orders are despatched from the Moorabbin Melbourne store, but whenever stock is not available, we call on any of our other stores who may have the item to fill the order.
