Yamaha B-Flat Cornet YCR-2330 III (Lacquered Finish) offers a beautiful traditional cornet sound and has highly accurate intonation and comfortable playability. The 2330II has a 'shepherds crook\' style bell and features a thumb hook on the 1st valve slide. The lightweight design gives a quick, easy response.
Yamaha standard cornets have been designed to incorporate many of the features and characteristics of the top pro models, yet at a standard model price.
We stock these in silver-plate too, as it's a harder wearing finish, more suited to the rigours of hard work in a Brass band or school rental programme. Easy to blow, this along with the Jupiter 520MS are the two best choices for beginners. Higher quality than the Jupiter, it's slightly higher in price too.

Delrin one-piece valve guides are durable and quieter than metal valve guides.
5) Large Bore and Large Bell
Combining the large bore and large bell makes the student cornet free-blowing with a voluminous sound.
