To enable the tailpiece to fit perfectly Wittner has improved the adjustable gut which now, by turning the locking screws, can be lenthened by another 3mm.

The Wittner ultralight tailpiece is made of stable composite material. This material is very strong but does not add unnecessary weight to the instrument. It incorporates 4 string adjusters/fine tuners into the tailpiece and combines classic design with sophisticated material technology. Comes complete with the Wittner Violin non-slip nylon endgut.
