Symphony No 3 Allegro Sdeso3 Sc/pts

The first movement of this early work shows Haydns fondness for themes which spin from four long notes, surrounded by counterpoint in other voices. This intermediate arrangement for string orchestra requires some shifting for first violin and bass, while second violin, viola and cello can be played entirely in first position.
