Southern Cross Celebration (roaring Forties) Dhc

This new work by Philip Sparke was commissioned to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Australian Army Bands Corps. “The Roaring Forties” is what seamen call the region between the 40th and 50th degreesof latitude in the southern hemisphere (due to the boisterous and preva iling westerly winds).
