Selmer Series III Soprano Saxophone
Selmer (Paris) offers a choice of Series II and Series III professional soprano saxophones. The different size and shape of the body tube between the two models results in contrasting response, intonation, and tone quality. We suggest that you try both in determining which model best fits your personal needs
The Series III Soprano ensures greater playability, more accuracy and ergonomically comfortable keywork. The blowing emission of its high register extended to high G has been largely facilitated. Selecting a straight or curved neck allows to get well acquainted with it.
Set up with the same concern for versatility of use, the Series III range is suitable for musicians from different backgrounds and is characterized by its great flexibility.
The Henri SELMER Paris Series III soprano offers a beautiful roundness of sound and a great richness of tone. It is characterized in particular by its great ease of emission, especially in the high notes.
Its ambitus is extended by the addition of a key allowing to reach the high G. Thanks to its ergonomics, it offers a comfort of play quite similar to that of the alto.
Comfort is increased by the choice between two removable necks, one straight and the other curved, allowing an alternative in terms of playing position and sound.
