Schwarzer Tanzer Alto Or Tenor Sax/pno

Schwarzer Tanzer was written for Christopher Boatwright one of the first black dancers with the Stuttgart Ballet. Boatwright wanted a piece of music that could be choreographed, Nigel Wood wishing to avoid ethnic music clichés (despite the title, which means black dancer) created this Germanic style fusion of Weil and Oompah band.
