The SX90 Series soprano saxophones combines the legendary manufacturing of the Keilwerth brand along with the influence of legendary Keilwerth artist David Liebman. All models are based on an innovative new bore and bell design that offers less resistance with a centered tone and even pitch throughout the range of the instrument. All key work is produced entirely by hand to ensure the most accurate mechanism and precision.

All transit packing and corks from the manufacturer are removed.
- Thorough visual check for any plating or lacquer defects
- All pads checked for quality.
- Test all pad seatings & key adjustments using a leak-light.
- All key corks and felts checked, adjusted to set vent heights.
- Regulate and adjust keywork as required.
- All spring tensions checked and adjusted to create a balanced feel across the instrument.
- Check neck tenon for correct fit.
- Neck cork checked for cork quality and greased.
- Check octave mechanism adjustment.
- Play test from top to bottom.
- Case inspected for quality, instrument fit and accessories.
- Instrument cleaned and carefully repacked
