This corrected edition of the Improvisations on Hungarian Peasant Songs, Op.20 has been edited by Peter Hennings and Nelson Dellamaggiore. It examines all extant sources, taking in corrections made by the composer. Also included is a preface by Peter Bartók with details of sources and a list of the Hungarian melodies with translations of their texts.
