HINDEMITH - KANONS VOL 2 CHORAL SCORE

These canons, published for the first time, document Hindemith's penchant for composing small parodic works with a wink on given occasions. Over 30 artful pieces in the "picture postcard format" wrote the composer. He packed Christmas greetings, congratulations on anniversaries and thanks to friends, colleagues and cultural institutions in a counterpoint.
After the first volume for chorus a cappella, the second volume is now available, containing canons for mixed choir accompanied by a small brass ensemble.
