Gliga II Genova Violin Outfit - Size 4/4
Gliga II Genova Violin Outfit (4/4 Size) has flamed maple on the back and ribs (sides) of the instrument. Additionally, a tighter-grain of spruce is used. These two specifications alone result in better aesthetics and sound. Fitted with a French-made AUBERT maple bridge and German-made Pirastro strings, the outfit is completed in Australia using typically a TG branded oblong Hill-style case and an Articul brand carbon graphite bow.

The Gliga II Genova Violin Outfit (4/4 Size) is fitted with a French-made AUBERT maple bridge and German-made Pirastro strings. This outfit is completed in Australia using typically a TG branded oblong Hill-style case and an Articul brand carbon graphite bow.
At this level, we see the introduction of the use of flamed maple on the back and ribs (sides) of the instrument. Additionally, a tighter-grain of spruce is used. These two specifications alone result in better aesthetics and sound. All tonewood in Gliga’s workshops are carefully graded and naturally the higher the grade of wood the more effort is made in the carving and tuning of the plates (back and belly).
