The  R13 Eb clarinet is now available in Green Line and in grenadilla wood. This clarinet is made in one piece and is tuned to 440/ 442 Hz. The nickel-silver keywork is power forged, pre-plated in copper and finished in silver plate. This makes it long-lasting and gives the musician a very comfortable playing feeling. Blue steel springs increase the key action and withstand corrosion. An adjustable thumb rest allows for optimum hand positioning.

This clarinet is one of Buffet Crampon’s historic models. Created in 1955 by Robert Carrée, the R13 clarinet was a big hit in the United States and still meets with unprecedented success. Its tone is focused, rich, and powerful in all registers. Its flexibility lends itself to all repertoires: symphonies or chamber music, soloists, teachers, military bands, students or amateurs.
