The vocalises by Marco Bordogni provide excellent practice material for trombone students. In order to make these melodious exercises even more interesting for both the student and the teacher, the arranger has composed second parts in contrapuntal form resulting in duets which are pleasing as well as practical. The added second part is generally somewhat more difficult than the original and may be considered to be the teacher's part. However, as the student progresses, they should master both parts. Theses pieces may also be performed by other like bass clef instruments.
