The Q Series Clarinet offers those who prefer a more traditional French-style instrument the chance to experience the world of Backun. We combine modern manufacturing techniques and treatments, including a carbon fibre middle joint ring, with classic grenadilla wood and silver-plated key work to produce an instrument with a truly familiar feel and playability.
Inline trill keys help reduce condensation accumulation, and precision under- and over-cut tone holes ensure impeccable intonation and response. An affordable masterpiece, the Q Series is the classic choice.
Grenadilla wood body, carbon fiber joint ring, and silver-plated keys
Q Series clarinets are constructed with naturally aged grenadilla wood, allowing you to play with the warm, alluring tone you’d expect from any high-end clarinet. The clarinet also sports a carbon fiber middle joint ring. This innovative design is more stable than traditional metal rings and reduces the risk of cracking. With its highly ergonomic sterling keywork, the Q Series simply feels wonderful to hold. When you pick it up, you\'ll immediately have the freedom to sweep across all registers of the instrument in perfect comfort. The Q Series’ keys are also tailored with water-resistant black leather pads, ensuring the clarinet’s longevity while also adding subtle touches to its overall look.
