Every new instrument set up with our TECH-ASSURE™ process which goes through a rigorous checklist so you can be assured that you are getting the best out of your new instrument.
We know the absolute importance of our TECH-ASSURE™ professional instrument setup to get your instrument playing at its peak, so don’t settle for anything less.
Our 13-Point Professional Set-up includes.
- All transit packing and corks from the manufacturer are removed.
- Thorough visual check for any plating or lacquer defects.
- All pads are checked for quality.
- Test all pad seatings & key adjustments using a leak-light and feeler gauge.
- All key corks and felts were checked, and adjusted to set vent heights.
- Regulate and adjust keywork as required.
- All spring tensions are checked and adjusted to create a balanced feel across the instrument.
- Test the final pad seal with a Magnehelic air pressure test.
- Check foot and head joint tenons for correct fit.
- Check foot tenon for burrs.
- Play the test from top to bottom.
- Case inspected for quality, instrument fit, and accessories.
- Instrument was cleaned and carefully repacked.
