Aviary

Richard Rodney Bennett's five songs from "The Aviary" can be sung separately or as a cycle and are for unison voices and piano. The titles of each song are: The Birds' Lament, The Owl, The Early Nightingale, The Widow Bird and The Lark. The lyrics are in English with German translations provided by Ernst Hartmann.
