I've been playing on one of these for around eight months. It is a simply incredible horn and worth every cent. The looks are absolutely incredible - the magnificent lacquered nickel coating, with the silver keywork and beautiful engraving all over the horn (right up the body tube and over the neck) make it a simply stunning horn. The ergonomics are great. It feels incredibly natural, and the response is bang on. These things are so well regulated it's obvious it has come from a top craftsman. Mine came set up from a woodwind tech before I got it - not sure how much, if any, work he had to do to it before I took delivery - but oh man from the first note, this thing just sang. And lastly, the sound. It is the most free blowing and incredibly powerful horn I have ever had the pleasure to play. I've played Eastman, Yanagisawa, Yamaha, Dave Guardala, Buffet, etc etc and for my playing style and preference (a free blowing style along the lines of the vintage Conns), this thing just knocks them all out of the park. The joy I get from playing this beautiful horn is unrivalled. My suggestion - be very careful test playing one of these. You will fall in love and it is a VERY expensive love affair.
