An improvement on the original Vibrato A1 model, the A1S features some new breakthroughs. The body and neck of the A1S is made of solid polycarbonate. The ‘S’ stands for “Solid”, in both the sound produced and the fundamentals of the body’s construction. With denser properties, the Vibrato A1S gives a better resonance and a more projected, focused sound while still producing a thick and warm tone. The properties of this specific blend also produce a sax that is shinier in appearance and quite attractive. A traditional brass sax is very sensitive and users find that the sound can be distorted easily, not to mention the frequent maintenance and cleaning required. The Vibrato A1S requires much less maintenance compared to a brass sax.
