Special Rubner 2-part individual machine heads are used on this model to suit the stylish elongated French-style peg box and scroll. Made from tone woods grown in the famous Carpathian Mountain region, this model represents outstanding value for a European instrument. It is finished with hand-applied German-made oil varnish and has a French-style body pattern.

This Gliga’s own French-style 3/4 size double bass features hand-carved solid spruce top (belly) and maple flat/beveled back and sides with attractive violin corners, fine ebony fingerboard and tailpiece, maple bridge, and German-made Rubner machine heads, presented in a padded bag and a Brazilwood bow.
The finish is a standard oil varnish (this is a basic traditional colour used in the market).
