The Clarinéo’s Appeal to Primary & Junior Schools & students
MUSICALITY
* Because it is light, small and easy to blow, it enables young children to play a professional-sounding, musically sophisticated, fully chromatic musical instrument from the age of six.
* Kids progress musically on from the recorder and are then prepared for playing wind instruments.
* It plays along with primary school recorder, elementary percussion and voice music from the same music books because it is pitched in C (non-transposing instrument).
* Its 3½ octave range greatly augments the 1½ octave recorder range that is typically what a child can reasonably expect to play in their early years.
* The Clarinéo’s register from the E below Middle C to the third G above is very useful musically.
* Its register complements the soprano/descant recorder’s register, which begins at the C above Middle C.
* The Clarinéo’s mellow tone combined with its 3½ octave range greatly adds to the sound pallet provided by the recorder.
* Combined with the recorder, percussion and voice, the Clarinéo gives the pupils, teachers and parents a more satisfying musical experience, which motivates the children to keep practicing.
* Is equally suitable for soloing, ensemble work and parts-playing, giving the teacher great flexibility for making the music class more inspiring, and adding to school assemblies, parent evenings, concerts.
