Store owner Brian Ebert a qualified brass and woodwind techinician opens Brass n Woodwind Workshop in 1989, a service and repair facility in Glenhuntly Victoria Australia.
One year later moving the workshop to larger premises where we still are today, at 572 North Road Ormond, Victoria.
Around 1992 the workshop slowly evolves into a retail store, primarily selling used quality brass and woodwind instruments and then later moving into new instruments and becoming a company called Melbourne Brass and Woodwind Centre Pty Ltd
2004 - With the business still expanding, and no room to move, the workshop moves to a dedicated building 5 doors down at 562 North Road Ormond, still retaining the original name, Brass n Woodwind Workshop, headed by Ian Gordon and our dedicated repair technicians.
The Ozwinds Brass and Woodwind on line web site begins in 2003 and continues to evolve with new and changing products.
Update
October 2009, Retail stores moves to much larger premises at 578 North Road Ormond, and our workshop returns to 572 North Road.
We believe this is now the first Australian Brass and Woodwind Super Store.
